Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Shoplyve, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Lyve,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and protects your information when you join the Lyve waitlist at shoplyve.co (the “Site”). Lyve is a collaborative social shopping app currently in pre-launch. By joining the waitlist, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

• Email address. You provide this when you join the waitlist.
• Referral information. If you join through a friend's referral link, or refer friends yourself, we record the connection between accounts and a unique referral code so we can calculate your position in line.
• Waitlist status. We store whether your email has been confirmed, your position in the queue, and related timestamps.
• Technical data. Basic information your browser sends automatically, such as IP address and user-agent, used for security and abuse prevention.

We do not collect payment information, and we do not ask for any data beyond what is needed to run the waitlist.

2. How we use your information

• To send a confirmation email so we can verify your address (double opt-in).
• To send you waitlist updates and let you know when Lyve is ready for you.
• To operate the referral program and calculate your position in line.
• To protect the Site against spam, fraud, and abuse.

3. Legal basis

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process your information based on your consent (given when you submit your email and confirm it) and on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the waitlist. You may withdraw consent at any time (see “Your rights” below).

4. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the waitlist, under agreements that limit their use of it:

• Email delivery — Resend, to send verification and waitlist emails.
• Hosting & infrastructure — Laravel Cloud, where the Site and its database run.
• Analytics & advertising — providers that help us measure Site traffic and the performance of our marketing campaigns.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

• Essential — session and security/CSRF cookies that let the Site work and protect form submissions. These are always active.
• Analytics — to understand how visitors find and use the Site so we can improve it.
• Advertising & marketing — pixels and tags that help us measure our marketing and reach people who may be interested in Lyve.

You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings and, where we offer them, through any consent choices presented on the Site. We may also measure opens and clicks in our waitlist emails to understand engagement and improve them.

6. Data retention

We keep your waitlist information until the waitlist closes and Lyve launches, until you ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer needed for the purposes above — whichever comes first.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights — or to be removed from the waitlist and our emails at any time — email us at hello@shoplyve.co and we'll take care of it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

Our infrastructure is hosted in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed there, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

10. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
